Here is a sample of the industries we serve:
Productions stamps are used in all avenues of manufacturing to identify the manufacturer, product name, part number, date of manufacture, and additional information required by the customer, such as patent numbers and trademark registration. F&S
engraving also has the ability to produce stamps for agency registration, such as UL and CSA numbers.
F&S Engraving works with supply manufacturers that provide stamps and dies used by the firearm industry. All firearms are stamped with serial numbers for federal and state registration. They are stamped with sharp-faced dies to mark model number, gauge, and manufacturer name and location. Sharp-faced stamps create micro fissures, which still allow guns to be identified when the number is filed down. Sharp-faced roll dies are also used by rifle manufacturers for creating checkering and other designs on guns stocks. Roll marking dies are used for marking range and distance calibrations for rifle scopes and other components, such as silencers used within the firearm industry.
F&S Engraving manufactures hot stamp dies for marking and decorating a wide range of plastic products for the appliance, automotive, toy, recreation, and stereo components industries. F&S is engaged with customers to provide mold engraving services to meet their specifications. We create molds for tooling used to manufacture plastic components, engrave logos for cavity identification (quality for manufacturer), and recycle logos.
F&S Engraving manufacturers hot stamp dies for marking and identifying medical IV bags. We engrave molds used for forming sterile plastic containers that deliver liquid medicine, such as eye drops and respiratory medicine.
F&S Engraving manufactures roll dies for roll forming manufacturers, which are used for putting on product identification and date code requirements. For example, the metal strip between windowpanes is stamped for identification. Dies are used on punch press and break press applications to apply logos and designs during the manufacturing of products. Embossing dies are used in the automotive industry on tailgates and air cleaners. The metal forming industry is ever changing and F&S Engraving can accommodate your changing needs.
F&S Engraving supplies many food processing facilities with the sharp-faced stamps for date coding a wide variety of products. Stamps are also used to apply the date of manufacture or expiration on dairy milk cartons, shelf stable products, bag lettuce, cookies and cracker packs, ice cream cartons and other food packages.
Metal embossing is more than a process, more than a craft: it is an art. As master engravers since 1922, F&S Engraving uses state-of-the-art machining and engraving technology, supported by knowledgeable and highly trained personnel who respect that art, providing great value while never sacrificing quality.
“Embossing is an art which is a challenge. Highly embossed lithographic products are our art. J.L. Clark is proud of its national design awards. F&S was the engraver on those award-winning designs. I consider it a partnership in value and quality.“
~ Dick Peterson, retired Senior Program Manager for metal lithographer/container manufacturer J.L. Clark.
F&S Engraving supplies companies such as Ford, General Motors and Chrysler with stamps to apply date of manufacture, shift codes, and operation requirements. We provide tier 1 vendors to the automotive industry with stamps to identify requirements of parts. Consecutive numbering devices, sharp-faced stamps, embossing dies, and hot stamp dies are all utilized in the automotive industry and provided through F&S Engraving’s commitment to quality, precision, and quick delivery.
The experience and precision of master craftsmen, quality, and quick delivery are all vital in the aerospace industry and F&S Engraving exceeds expectations in all those areas.
We machine stamps for part and product identification, allowing for traceability for the duration of manufacturing. As the part is machined, the part is remarked, if necessary, to ensure continued traceability. If there is failure of the part, the date or lot can then be identified. The aerospace industry primarily uses sharp-faced stamps and low stress stamps.
Low stress characters are comprised of dots, providing marking without putting added surface stress on the part. These are also referred to as aerostamps. They are used to avoid creating breakage points and risking diminishing the safety and integrity of the part. The experience of F&S Engraving’s master craftsmen ensures the quality and safety of the end product you expect.
As master engravers since 1922, F&S Engraving is engaged with customers to provide mold engraving services to meet their specifications. We provide the quality and precision, as well as the on-time delivery, you expect.
We create molds for tooling used to manufacture plastic components, engrave logos for cavity identification (quality for manufacturer), and logos. F&S Engraving has the ability to engrave molds to your specifications for a variety of other applications. Rubber molds are engraved for manufacturers in the automotive and electrical industries, creating end products such as power cords, power tools, hand tools, and automotive and electrical components.
F&S Engraving provides appliance companies and their suppliers a variety of stamps and dies. Sharp-faced stamps are used to apply part numbers, serial numbers, and dates of manufacture. Hot stamps dies are used for decorating plastic components such as vacuum cleaners. Hot stamping is more durable than ink marking. Embossing dies can be used to stamp or decorate high-end metal appliances. Hot stamp dies are used for knobs, giving superior durability over silk screening by pressing the design into the plastic instead of printing it on the surface.
F&S Engraving machines sharp-faced stamps and embossing dies used for adding decorations and designs to production manufactured jewelry, as well as custom jewelry. They’re used to mold or stamp gold gradation on rings and other jewelry items. Sharp-faced stamps and embossing dies add designs and impressions to pendants and bracelets.
